A private cremation will take place earlier in the day. Family flowers only, but donations in Heron’s memory can be made to the British Heart Foundation c/o T. Pennack & Sons, Great Baddow, CM2 7DW.

Heron died suddenly last month, aged 72. He was the grandson of Edward Thomas Heron, who founded ET Heron in 1885, and the last of the family line to run the company.
