VivaIP and VivaGate are to make their debuts at the exhibition from 24-25 November, at Earls Court. The systems are part of the firm's strategy to extend into "fully automatic publishing" using the internet or intranet.
According to Viva Technology international sales manager Peter Hannon, the products are designed to streamline production and primarily target the catalogue market.
"We've been in contact with some UK companies and with the interest we have generated, now is a good time to attack the market," said Hannon. Content management system VivaGate interlinks products, texts, tables and technical data.
It also includes a planning module through which a user can see at a glance how a catalogue will be constructed in graphic form. In addition, a low-res PDF of the whole document for final proofing can be created.
"The important element is that the end user does not need to have a specific background in the pre-press or layout areas," added Hannon. The products will be available on the UK market from next week although prices have not yet been disclosed.
