Sam Reid joined the Lincoln-headquartered print and design company in the newly created role last Monday (19 July).
For the past couple of years Reid has been self-employed in the software sector, but prior to that he had spent 25 years in the print industry, specialising in areas including commercial print, packaging, digital, large-format, and direct mail.
Reid said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Visual Print and Design as their new business manager. I’ve known [managing director] Graham [Hunstone] for several years and have always admired the fantastic work the company has done and achieved since it was launched in 2009. To be part of the team is incredible and I can’t wait to get started.”
Hunstone added: “We’re very excited to have Sam on board. His wealth of experience and knowledge of print and his sales background is exactly what we need for our ambitious growth plans. Over the next 18 months, Sam will be key for helping us expand our services across the Midlands and beyond.”
Visual Print and Design, which also has an office in Scotland, offers services including marketing material, corporate stationery, publications, direct mail, exhibition displays, and branded merchandise.
During the first coronavirus lockdown last year, the company secured a two-year local authority contract with an unnamed North London borough council.
