Vision Paper launches new FSC-accredited products

Vision Paper, Middleton Paper's paper merchant division, has launched FSC-accredited Verdana triple gloss and silk, Arial art board and Zenith GCI.

Verdana triple gloss and silk is available in 90gsm-350gsm. The company said it had excellent opacity to minimise show-through on lighter weights.

Arial art board will compete against traditional solid bleached sulfate grades and graphical art board. Aylesford-based Vision Paper said it enabled many graphical printers to drop grammage by up to 10% without losing bulk, while the Zenith GCI range has an "exceptional whiteness and excellent bulk".

James Wright, Vision Paper sales manager, said: With many of Vision Paper’s grades already FSC-accredited, we definitely have plans to increase that amount during 2009.

"It is a business strategy that we are expanding on and we have found that our customers in the packaging industries are particularly keen to buy products with environmental credentials.

The company is also looking to introduce further PEFC-accredited grades into its list of products.

Vision Paper was established in January 2008 and operates from office and warehouse facilities in Kent.

It is an independent division of £30m-turnover company Middleton Paper, which supplies paper and board to paper merchants and is part of independent family-owned Middleton Group.
