Vertis launches loyalty card service

Vertis Europe has launched a service to plan and project manage its clients customer loyalty schemes.

Its service includes enclosing, distribution, data processing and card production at its Croydon site. To support the scheme, Vertis has invested in equipment, including a CIM Combi embosser and thermal printer and two CIM K300 series thermal printers. It also has a CIM 991 embosser.

"Incentive or loyalty schemes are a powerful way of ensuring that clients remain loyal rather than buying from a competitor," said Vertis Croydon managing director Linda Scott. "We offer clients the benefit of our experience in managing the entire process for them and ensure their loyalty schemes work as effectively as possible."

Earlier this year Vertis Europe signalled its commitment to finishing, announcing a 2m investment plan for its Croydon and Leicester sites (PrintWeek, 21 April). The Croydon site recently installed two 2500 Kern enclosers.

The latest investment follows Vertis Croydon's installation of a five-colour NexPress 2100 as part of a strategy to target data driven work in direct mail.
