Valmet Rotomec has unveiled its CI 401 ES, a central impression flexo press. According to the company, the press offers quick job changeovers just 15 minutes for the eight-station press including full colour change.
The driveless CI 401 ES features Rotomecs electronic shaft technology, online sleeve changing, automatic washdown and automatic register control. It is also offers a 100% central control and information system which Valmet claims is unique for a flexo press.
In order to further increase productivity the press has been fitted with a heavy duty dryer. It offers a 50% improvement in drying performance against other systems, said marketing manager Roger Astell.
