The firm will run the new machine alongside two Printmaster QM 46-2s and digital presses.
Vale Press, which has 15 staff, also invested in a B3 thermal platesetter last year so that plate capacity could keep up with the new press.
Motivation for the investment was to save money, increase sales and have greater control of the work handled, said managing director Thomas Stowe.
He said: “It offers quick makeready, which is ideal for the short-run, fast-turnaround market we service.”
The firm has also chosen automatic blanket and ink roller washing, along with automatic plate mounting.
