The pay deal, effective from 1 July, comes after the union struck an agreement with the Scottish Print Employers Federation (SPEF).
The agreement, which covers around 30 print firms in the country, was called "a reasonable deal under the circumstances," by Tony Burke, assistant general secretary at Unite.
Burke said that with the printing industry in Scotland going through a tough period of closures and job losses, it was time for Unite, the SPEF and its member companies to engage in talks about how best to address the problem.
"Print (notably for the finance industry) and packaging work traditionally produced in Scotland is being produced either in the rest of the UK or in the rest of the EU," he said.
Burke added: "We have proposed that Unite sits down with the SPEF and their member companies to discuss how best we can address this issue including looking at how we can seek joint help or assistance for the industry and how best we can jointly promote the industry in Scotland."
