London printer Richard Edwards is installing the UKs first 10-colour MAN Roland 700 press. The 2.3m press is fully automated and can print 5/5 or 10/0 at 15,000sph.
It comes with Pecom digital network packages, including JobPilot for off-line makeready and network management, Pre-press Link for pre-press to press integration, Press Monitor for press performance analysis, and CCI for computer controlled colour monitoring. The company has also invested 400,000 in game card finishing equipment.
