And Eleni Bourazanis, a student from England, won the Young Star Award and will take up a six month internship at Mimaki in Amsterdam as her prize.
The awards were handed out last night at a gala dinner in Munich.
Raccoon was the winner in the Outdoor and Vehicle Decoration of the Year category, while Press On triumphed in In-Store Project of the Year.
The other winners were: Horizon Digital Print of Ireland, which won Integrated Print Campaign of the Year; New Zealand’s Foster Screenprinting/Arria Design Group won Special Effect Print of the Year; Interior Decoration of the Year went to Van Iwaarden Artwork of the Netherlands; Luxexcel Printoptical Technology won Functional Print of the Year; Fine Art Print of the Year was awarded to Marvel Graphic Studio of India, while Garment Decoration of the Year went to Russia’s A-Design, which was also voted ‘people’s choice’ for its skull t-shirt.
Best In Show went to Zego Promotion & Logistik of Germany for the production of a Daft Punk jacket using multiple print techniques.
Keith Ferrell of Cactus Imaging in Australia received his Hall of Fame Printer of the Year Award to rapturous applause.
Fespa head of new media and events, Duncan MacOwan said: “The entries have shown the power of print to create impact across all types of brief.”
