Colour management specialist Robert Shakespeare was among the passengers killed in the Selby rail disaster.
Shakespeare was a colour consultant at Birmingham-based TypeMaker. He recently demonstrated a system at Leeds College of Technologys Futures in Print day.
He had extensive experience in the industry having worked for Crosfield, MCG Graphics and McGurk Studios.
Robert will be sadly missed by all his colleagues at TypeMaker, said TypeMaker managing director Geoffrey Clements.
He proved himself a leading expert in colour management and ICC pro-filing and his skill will be incredibly difficult to replace. Our thoughts go out to his wife Julie and their four children.
Arrangements for the funeral have yet to be made. At his familys request, for further details contact TypeMaker.
