The firm has secured UK and Ireland deals for pick-and-place equipment manufacturer Sigma as well as  Taiwanese strapping machine company Transpak Equipment. Both contracts will cover sales, service, spare parts and training.

The deal will see Friedheim offering three Sigma products: Pick & Place Basic, Pick & Place Servo and the Streamfeeder.

The Basic and Servo versions can handle a number of products including cards, bags, CDs and coins.

Friedheim will also begin marketing Transpak’s TP-701NS Single and TP-711NT Tandem strappers, which target the newspapers and magazine sectors, and the Mercury TP-702 for the commercial market.
