The Scottish independent papermaker attained FSC chain of custody for the processing, sales and distribution of its coated and uncoated paper and board products earlier this month.
Coated product manager Gregor Milne said Trucard Recycled, which contains 50% virgin fibre and 50% post consumer de-inked fibre, would be aimed at the greeting cards and publishing sectors.
Milne said that as Trucard Recycled was a triple A+ recycled product it was not dissimilar to a virgin fibre product in appearance.
The virgin fibre used is 100% elemental chlorine free (ECF), with the de-inked fibre supplied from a FSC approved waste pulp mill.
Trucard Recycled is the second recycled brand to be launched by Tullis, the first being Naturalis.
