TMP has also ordered seven Ferag JetFeeder units – which the manufacturer has claimed to be the fastest available – for the 30-pocket drum-based RollSert.

Ferag kit is already installed at other TMP sites, including the existing conveying and stacking hardware at Teeside.

“We looked very carefully at the newspaper inserting systems on the market and the Ferag RollSert equipment came out ahead in terms of versatility and its ability to be extended easily in the future to suit changing production situations,” said TMP Teesside and Newcastle general manager Michael Brown.

The system will be delivered in June and be operational by July.
