Darrin Stevens, a senior account executive at Hulls Trinity Graphic, produced the CD for his postgraduate diploma in teaching at Hull University.
It includes a 10-minute film, flowchart of operations from design to production, legal requirements, recycling and details the different printing processes. It has been sent to 20 secondary schools, the PGC NTO, GPMU and BPIF.
Its about informing students more to help them make decisions. Its also about helping designers really understand pre-press and printing, said Stevens.
