Turning Point Technologies has signed up to sell exclusively Fuji pre-press hardware, ending a longstanding deal with CreoScitex.
"The two firms have been getting closer and closer over time and it made sense," said TPT sales manager Steve Emerson. "We werent selling much CreoScitex kit and our focus on VLF CTP with Lscher caused some conflicts."
"Its a significant deal for us," said Fujis UK sales manager systems David Wilson. "Its encouraging that a firm of TPTs calibre has come to us from the CreoScitex fold."
TPT expects Fujis mid-range flatbed scanners to be popular with its publisher and agency clients. Its CTP products will plug holes in the Lscher range.
Consumables will also be part of the agreement with loss of discount (bundling) on Fuji consumables being used to fund kit and workflow from TPT.
