TPF’s relationship with Ladbrokes, one of the UK’s largest high-street betting chain, stretches back over a decade, making it one of the longest-running print management contracts in the UK.
Ladbrokes buying and corporate services director Scott Seaman-Digby said: “After 12 years [TPF] continues to perform and deliver across the board and their approach has the freshness of a new supplier in terms of energy, commitment and enthusiasm.”
Ladbrokes expects the new deal to save around £1.6m a year thanks to the inclusion of a greater range of services than covered by previous contracts. This includes the addition of creative services and the development of an integrated facilities management service across the firm’s 2,480 UK retail outlets.
TPF Group business development director Dean Smith said: “Ladbrokes has the second-largest real estate in the UK outside the Post Office, so the fact we’re providing them with an integrated FM solution really helps our Royal Mail bid.”
Other services covered by the agreement include print management, reprographic and logistic services. In addition, TPF has recently assumed responsibility for producing 1.5bn betting slips a year for Ladbrokes.
TPF Group chief executive Steve Brundle said: “The year TPF started dealing with Ladbrokes, Royal Athlete won the Grand National and, as ever, I didn’t have a penny on it. However, TPF certainly backed a winner in Ladbrokes and I’d like to think the feeling’s mutual.”
TPF won Ladbrokes’ overall supplier of the year award in 2006.
