The Swedish company said the machine will make maintenance easier for the user, and it includes parts that simplify the removal of the stitching fork, and lubrication has also been added to the bearings.
However, rather than upgrading the speed of the machine, the Speedliner 2.0 is the same product as the original, launched in 2002, but now with a modular machine.
Tolerans spokesman Gunnar Lodige said: "Our goal was to reduce the downtime of the press. While the Speedliner can keep up with the latest presses, replacing parts can now be done in minutes."
Speedliner 2.0 stitchers, which sit on the press, are available as ribbon or cylinder stitchers with shaftless drives, and are designed to stitch in either straight or collect mode.
