We already operate offline stitching facilities and probably stitch around 500,000 newspapers a week. However, there is a move within the industry towards inline stitching. The most obvious advantage is that inline stitching makes it easier to distinguish sections within the paper. The two Speedliner systems work at up to 130,000 cycles per hour and will stitch work from our three Goss folders. We never need to stitch on all three folders at the same time and, as the Tolerans inline stitchers can be moved quickly between units, we decided that two stitchers would be sufficient to meet our needs. We already operate strapping equipment supplied by WRH Marketing but have not used Tolerans products before. However, we had heard some first class references.

I swear by my: Tolerance Speedliner
Our Tolerans Speedliner inline stitching systems will be used with a wide range of newspapers printed on our six-tower Goss HT70 press.
