On day one, 22 November, the focus will be on Drupa 2012. The panel includes: Roy Joseph, country manager, Avery Dennison; Paulose Parrakadan, country manager, R-Pac India; Prabuddha Dasgupta, group leader - packaging development - foods, Unilever; Sameer Mehendale, packaging development manager, Cadbury India (Kraftfoods); Maneesh Sharma, head-packaging, Marico; Biswajit Basu, head-packaging development, Abbott India; Soma Roy, senior executive, Parle Agro; Gautham Pai, executive director, Manipal Press; Manoj Mehta, chairman, Utility Printpack; Rishabh Singhvi, director, International Print-O-Pac; Viresh Sheth, executive director, Kris Flexipacks and others. The session will be chaired by Ramu Ramanathan, group editor of Campaign India and PrintWeek India.
On day two, 23 November, the panel will discuss green trends in packaging printing.
"In addition, future trends in packaging printing will be discussed on both the days of the conference," said Prayagi, chairman of the conference and head of PmIndia. He further added: "The aim of the technical sessions is to understand from the best and the brightest minds their expert opinions."
PmIndia (a joint activity of Graphic Arts Technology & Education and Chemnitz University, Germany) are the hosts of the conference, which is being organised in co-operation with Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and PrintWeek India.
