This conference is being organised by pmIndia, a joint venture of Institute for Print and Media Technology and Chemnitz University of Technology, Chemnitz, Germany and Graphic Arts Technology and Education (GATE).
Kiran Prayagi, head of pmIndia, said: "The conference will bring together experts from the European and Indian printing industry to discuss the science and technology involved in area of special applications."
The event will focus on key areas: current industry trends; developments; security and functional printing and its role in packaging and label printing.
The previous Indo-German conferences gained a significant amount of acknowledgement.
Like the first edition, one of the official media partners for the conference is PrintWeek India.
The deadline for sending entries for the third edition of PrintWeek India Awards is 25 June 2011.
