The machine will be installed directly from the Thieme stand (B1-570) at Blase’s facility in Lübbecke in North-Rhine Westphalia.
Thieme which has historically specialised in screen printing kit, announced its move into the digital printing segment with the 3000 D, which uses Konica Minolta KM1024 heads, in December last year.
Following successful tests, Blase will use the inkjet press, equipped with Mankiewicz inks, for the production of printed electronics and a number of other industrial applications.
Thieme said that the basic press can be configured with a range of options to suit individual customer requirements and has been rigorously tested for a wide number of applications.
Thieme announced at Fespa, that the digital press “repeatedly surpassed the benchmark of one million cycles” in various production tests.
