The Stratford-upon-Avon-based company will handle sales of the product to Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland, as well as the UK.

According to Vij Solanki, sales and marketing at The Imaging Warehouse, the product is a big name in the US, but has had less of a showing in Europe.

He said: "It is another leg for us as the Imaging Warehouse. It is a well-established product, but we also have the ability to complement it. All canvases should be varnished to preserve them and we have a number of varnishes, both matt and gloss, that we can supply alongside it."

Solanki added that the canvases could be used in a number of businesses including studio labs, art studios, museums, fine art reproduction houses and for print framing.

The Imaging Warehouse has added its Breathing Color range to its flagship names including PermaJet and Nova.
