The firm receives daily requests from British Gas for cards via a secure ISDN line.
Depending on the customer details it personalises one of three types of card and prints one of 25 styles of letters using a Xerox printer. The cards and letters, along with any direct mail items, are then inserted and mailed.
Thames Card Technology produces 160m cards per year for clients that include Sainsburys, BP and Orange.
