The deal expands upon a smaller trial last year and will see the version 4.0 of the HP Photo Center installed in a number of Tesco Extra stores across the UK.
Customers using the system can print products including 4x6in photos, as well as greetings cards and personalised books, posters and photobooks.
Graham Harris, commercial hardlines director at Tesco, said: "Tesco chose HP for the reliability of its photo centre and its quality of output, which match the high level of service we guarantee to our customers."
According to HP, the retail publishing market will grow by more than $36bn (£25.5bn) in the next five years.
Rohit de Souza, vice president and general manager of HP's Retail Publishing Solutions business in the Imaging and Printing Group, said: "HP offers Tesco and its customers an unparalleled choice of printable assets.
"Not only can customers quickly and easily create customised photo projects, but small and micro businesses can create dynamic, professional-quality, low-cost collateral at retail," he added.
