Creasestream, which will launch in April, will operate as a sister business and exclusively deal with Tech-ni-fold’s creasing machines.
Tech-ni-fold managing director Graham Harris said: "We want to show that Creasestream is an important product in its own right. "The new company will probably launch in April, so hopefully we will be able to say more about it at Northprint."
Traditionally, Tech-ni-fold produced the Tri-creaser, auxiliary products that are added to folders and binders to avoid cracking.
However, the company has expanded its products in recent years to include standalone creasers. The latest is the Crease-stream Mini, which received its full debut at Paperworld in Frankfurt last week. The machine, which retails at £1,400, will be launched in the UK at Northprint.
