The high-tech firm, which last year won backing from private investor Bridgepoint in a multimillion-pound acquisition, will offer clients like Jaeger, Whittard, Costa and Macmillan integrated creative services for their marketing campaigns.
Heading up the new department will be James Chittenden, chief creative officer.
Chittenden had led ITG’s photography department, ITG Capture, from 2022; before then, he was executive creative director at cosmetics giant Avon.
Joining him are Joanna WIlby and Andrew Park, executive creative directors. Jess Hyland, one of the firm’s managing partners, will lead the new department’s sales efforts.
Sue Mountford, Team ITG CEO, said: “Team ITG is the most joined-up agency out there, working together as ‘one front door’ for our partners as part of our truly unique company culture.
“As a result, our creative department will be working closely together to join up creative services, business growth, and data and insights to produce inspired commercial creative work that works for our customers.
“We’re going to be seeing a lot more collaboration between our amazing services teams in future.
“James, Jess, Joanna, Andrew and the rest of the fantastic team contributing to our creative services have already achieved amazing results at Team ITG, and we’re excited to see our services taken to the next level and provide even greater support to our global clients.”
The new department will focus on producing high-quality visuals for campaigns, using ITG’s existing facilities and AI-based automation engines like Storyteq to push campaigns to market as quickly as possible.
Chittenden said: “The collaboration at Team ITG has been a staple of my first year with the business and a driving factor in our ability to deliver award-winning campaigns for the biggest brands.
"I look forward to working even closer with our business growth and data leads to continue pushing our creative boundaries for customers.
"ITG is constantly looking to innovate in new ways and I’m excited to continue developing our unique combination of the science of data and tech with the magic of our ideas and people.”
