Cox had worked at Taylor Bloxham since April 2018 up until its operations were shut down by administrators FRP Advisory in early February. He joined Pureprint shortly afterwards.
He brings more than 25 years of print sector experience to his new post, having started as a marketing executive for William Caple before moving to Greenshires as a sales director ahead of taking on his role at Taylor Bloxham.
Cox said: “The array of in-house services at Pureprint excited me especially some of the in-house finishing such as foil blocking, laminating, UV varnishing and embossing which I have never had the benefit of before.
“The digital facility is one of the best in the country and having the other DM and POS services is a real bonus, however it was not just the array of services and extensive capabilities that attracted me to Pureprint but the focus and dedication to their customers.
“The customer facilities for press passing are the best I have seen in the industry and the welcome customers receive at the factory is second to none.”
Pureprint Group is a £65m-turnover entity operating out of a head office and multiple production units in Uckfield, East Sussex, a London sales office in which Cox will be based, and its Imprint wide-format subsidiary in Newcastle.
As a group, it employs more than 400 members of staff addressing corporate, retail, creative and fine art markets.
