The company had already been closely aligned with the Japanese manufacturer, having been first to install a Pro C900 colour press in the UK and a member of its Business Driver Programme.
Taws Printers chairman Vish Patel said he believed Ricoh had an understanding of the digital print requirements an existing litho print supplier needed.
He said the company already used Heidelberg's workflow software and the relationship with Ricoh gave him confidence that the machines would work seamlessly within that platform.
Ricoh professional print solutions marketing manager Karen Lawrence said: "Taws Printers is a great example of an organisation that has embraced digital print and is looking at ways of maximising its investment."
