Target recruits as sales grow

Target Direct Print has recruited five new employees after increasing its annual turnover by 60% in 2006.

The direct marketing print management firm, whose clients include Focus DIY and Unicef, has reported a turnover increase from £8.9m in 2005 to £14.2m in 2006.

To support the growth, the Cheltenham firm has recruited four account managers and a data processing expert.

On the account management side, Michael Houghton has joined from Williams Lea and will specialise in financial service.

Nicola Seabourne, formerly production manager at Bristol creative agency The Entire Company, will focus on the commercial sector.

Stephanie Taylor and Anna Treasure will join from prin-ters Cooper Clegg and Severnprint respectively.

On the data side, the firm has recruited Steve Laver, whose career includes stints with Formpro Mail Marketing and GWC, to head up TDP’s new data processing set-up.
