Tangent wins European work as elections loom

Tangent Direct has been appointed by the Flemish Socialist Party (sp.a) to help deliver campaign collateral in the months preceding European and regional elections to be held this June.

The regional offices of the Flemish party will use Toolkit, Tangent Direct’s online local marketing communications software, to generate printed campaign material including door drops and posters.

Regional offices of the party can also produce localised print jobs from centrally-approved templates.

Bram Swaerts from the communications department at the party, said the Toolkit product will help its offices input copy, see proofs and place orders for election campaign material "reducing the burden on the Party’s headquarters and ensuring quick turnaround for communications."

Andy Wheatley, director of strategy at Tangent Direct, said: "It’s great to see our Toolkit product being used by the sp.a to localise election campaigns in this way.

"It demonstrates the power of the software in being able to provide very localised, yet controlled brand messages, very quickly, using a single interface. We look forward to working with the Party to ensure they gain maximum benefit from the product."

Earlier this year, Tangent Communications said it planned to add acquisitions to the group despite profits for the year ending 28 February predicted to be below market expectations.
