Tall Security Print has secured a year-long contract to supply 48m credit slips and another 10.5m every quarter to a major financial institution.

"We have had a very successful year, with part of the success coming from competitors pulling out of the cheque printing business," said sales and marketing director Peter Andrew.

The firm has also invested in new presses to cope with increased demand for its security print products.

Its Runcorn site has installed a Form All Edelmann five-colour narrow web press with inline numbering and UV drying.

A two-colour Shinohara sheetfed press has also been installed at Checkprint's Hinckley site.

"We are leading the way because we are evolving as a company," said Andrew.
