The brand was previously with Papyrus UK, the former merchanting arm of Stora Enso, before its demise earlier this year (PrintWeek, 12 April).
Talk Paper joint managing director Steve Robinson said the company had been in negotiations with Stora Enso for some time.
Talk Paper was formed in January following the merger of MoDo Office, the office papers division of MoDo Merchants, and County Paper London, part of the James McNaughton Paper Group.
The merchant groups each own 50%. Talk Paper has two key responsibilities: to source and manage the office papers portfolios of its owners; and its own national accounts, dealing principally with national contracts.
The company also stocks DataCopy from M-real and has UK exclusivity for the Yes range from UPM-Kymmene.
Talk Paper is jointly managed by Steve Robinson, former sales and marketing director of MoDo Office, and Andrew Ingram, formerly managing director of County (London). It has offices in Surrey and Essex.
