The Stone, Staffordshire firm is using the software developer’s Switch Workflow Automation Platform, linked to its EFI MIS system and also to Esko’s Artios CAD software.
Swanline had previously managed pre-media processes manually, but said that “all of this is now automated and integrated into a robust and proficient workflow”.
Group CEO Nick Kirby described Switch as “the next logical step” in enhancing the firm’s services.
“By eliminating operator intervention, repetitive tasks and pre-press production errors we can improve quality and provide customers with real time information about how their job is progressing.
“This is vital in today’s fast-paced work environments where we are seeing shorter deadlines and customers needing quicker turnarounds.”
Swanline has also revamped its online presence with a new website that went live last month, complete with fresh branding.
The firm has two core trading businesses: Swanline Print specialising in packaging and PoS, and Swanline Paper & Board, specialising in sustainable materials.
The group also owns a stake in CorrBoard UK.
