The two digital presses have replaced two DocuColor 2060 machines at the college. A third 2060 has been retained.
The college, set in the grounds of Tulliallan Castle on the Firth of Forth, trains 1,200 recruits every year on 15-week courses.
Derek Scott, head of communications IT at the college, said: "The college is going through a period of growth. Recruitment's up on one or two years ago, and we've also changed our teaching methods."
"We have new teaching materials, designed and printed in-house," he said. He added that the college also intended to continue producing other documents including the annual report on the 6060 printers.
Scott is hoping to replace the third 2060 "sooner rather than later" as growth in the college's production demands continues.
Ronnie Conway, general manager of Xerox Scotland, pointed out the benefits of digital printing for print-on-demand applications, as it "drives productivity and efficiency, and, ultimately, profitability."
