Stora to create MF mag grade

Stora Enso is to develop a premium Machine Finished (MF) magazine paper grade as part of a 37m (e53m) investment to upgrade PM2 at Summa in Finland.

The new grade will be suitable for both heatset and gravure printing. The upgrade will increase production on PM2 by 13,000 tonnes to 183,000 tonnes a year. The majority of output will be sold in the European market.
