The Stationers’ Company will take its apprenticeship event into its third year with another two-day run at Guildhall, London.

Apprentice 20 is set to take place on 29-30 June following on from last year’s success, which involved 60 participating employers and service providers in the creative sector presenting their available apprenticeship and training opportunities to around 3,000 students from the Greater London area.

Calls have now gone out for companies to apply for a place on this year’s event, with no cost to exhibitors beyond staffing stands and providing materials for students to engage with.

Hobs 3D was one of the companies that exhibited last year, with chief executive James Duckenfield praising the 2019 event as an excellent outlet to promote his company’s apprenticeship and training schemes.

“The feedback from my team was very positive,” he said. “We are taking on five interns, three of which will take on an 18-month apprenticeship this year.

“The event served to promote these positions well. I can speak for the team in saying that it was an event we were proud to be part of.”

The event will run 10am-3.30pm both days, with participants welcome to set up either on the preceding Sunday evening (28 June) or from 7am on the first day.

Day one of the event will be focused solely on A-level students, but the second day will also welcome pupils from years 10 and 11 (15-16 year-olds).
