Statexcolourprint walked away with the top prize at the annual PrintWeek Awards, held on Monday 22 October in London.

The Newcastle upon Tyne printer can now lay claim to the most coveted title in the industry PrintWeek Printing Company of the Year. But it had to fend off tough competition to claim its prize, including Ketterings Eclipse Colour Print, which was highly commended.

Some 1,400 guests at Le Meridien Grosvenor House witnessed 21 of the best UK print firms (and the best UK print student) collect their well-earned PrintWeek Prisms.

The prizes were presented by top TV impersonator Rory Bremner, and DJ-ing legend Tony Blackburn hosted the post-event dancing.
