The Arts for Impact Campaign is the Big Give’s newest campaign and is designed to support charities in the arts and culture sectors that work to achieve meaningful impact in peoples’ lives and society as a whole.
The campaign uses a 1:1 match-funding model meaning selected charities will receive ring-fenced funding that matches any sum donated by the public through its online fundraising platform, throughout the campaign dates.
During the coming week, from 19 to 26 March, all public donations made to St Bride Foundation through the Big Give Arts for Impact campaign link will be doubled by the campaign.
All funds raised will go towards funding the Foundation’s historic library collections, developing its learning programme and to maintain and invest in its grade-II listed building.
It is the first time St Bride Foundation has been selected by the Big Give, and foundation manager Alison Lee said it could make a huge difference.
“This is part of an ongoing journey for us that we are looking to futureproof our collections and provide greater access to them via our learning programmes. We’ve not done a huge amount of fundraising in the past so this is a good step in that direction.
“It’s been tough post-pandemic, as it has been for all charities, so any contribution anyone can make will make a big difference to us and the fact it’s match-funded is great because people feel that whatever they can give goes twice as far,” she added.
