Southernprint has stepped in to print IPC SouthBanks new 132pp glossy 25 Beautiful Gardens after original printer St Ives turned down the first issue because of a lack of capacity.
The on-going print contract for the 100,000-run upmarket gardening title will be offered back to St Ives for the second issue, but a spokeswoman for IPC SouthBank said: "If they did not have the capacity again, it would be offered out".
Argent is handling the repro for the title.
25 Beautiful Gardens is aimed at "the 35-plus homeowners group, who have time and money to spend on their gardens".
It is the latest title in IPCs 25 Beautiful range, and the publisher claims it is the first magazine to target the upmarket gardening sector.
