The new offering, which uses Royal Mail’s leaflet drop service, has just gone live.
The Southend-on-Sea print firm said the service would help its customers save time, by organising print and delivery through one supplier and “cutting out the hassle of coordinating separate providers”.
The door-to-door delivery option is available on A6, A5 and A4 flyers, four-page A4, A5 and DL folded leaflets and six-page DL folded leaflets.
Upon ordering the print collateral, customers select the door drop option and can then define their target audience via the Solopress Campaign Builder tool. This allows the buyer to choose postcode areas combined with a radius in miles or driving time, and then household categories such as families, mid-life and later life.
It's also possible to select multiple areas in one transaction, while an interactive map displays the number of households per postcode, which allows customers to further refine their selection.
Solopress prints and packs the leaflets and drops them into Royal Mail for distribution, which covers the 27m households in the UK.
Solopress managing director Simon Cooper commented: “There was an opportunity to further support our customers by giving them a service that will save them time and allow them to manage their door drop campaigns through a single supplier.
“Door-To-Door Leaflet Distribution lets our customers build efficient campaigns that target specific audiences.”
Solopress is keeping details about how it has achieved the integration under wraps.
The minimum quantity is 7,500, maximum 1m. Doordrop distribution costs depend on the selections made, and customers are advised to work on a three-week lead time to allow Royal Mail to schedule distribution.
Solopress employs around 180 and is hoping to return to pre-pandemic turnover levels of £30m this year.
