SoftColor set to unveil software

Finnish firm SoftColor has launched an eponymous automatic image enhancement server tool that costs 299 euro (around 260) for a single-seat licence.

Modules include colour correction, image processing, colour management and command line tools for configuring background processing.

Functions that can be automated include exposure, contrast and colour balance, resizing, cropping and
sharpening and ICC-based colour mapping between colour spaces.

Tools can be used singly or in combination. Adjustments can also be applied as a layer and exported as a ‘.PSD' file, enabling manual correction on the unaffected original.

Automatic correction can be applied to individual files, to folders of images, or be configured as a hot folder.

In addition to toolbox the firm also offers Photo2 which offers "advanced colour correction for the rest of us" and improveyourimages.com, a free online image enhancement tool powered by SoftColor Toolbox.
