Rumours have been rife since Singh left Communisis (PrintWeek, 3 July), but sources said the timing seemed right for the end of his gardening leave.
Singh has already been linked with John Blackburn, which he worked for very early on in his career.
Nick Atkinson, managing director of John Blackburns direct marketing division, would not confirm or deny Singhs appointment, but a source close to the company said his name keeps popping up.
Direct mail is really starting to kick off at John Blackburn and its made a lot of changes and brought in new kit. So perhaps they think they can bring in even bigger and better customers, like he [Singh] did at Chorleys, said a source.
