The labels were UV flexo/screen combination printed onto a co-polymer substrate and incorporated silver foil blocking.
"We involved Simpson right from the concept stage and through a series of print trials before going forward with the new designs," said Cussons packaging development executive Ian Henderson. "We're delighted with the result."
The label colours vary from deep blue and bright yellow to creamy white, which Simpson, based in Dalkeith, Midlothian, had to colour-match for the required "no label look".
"It was vital that the labels gave precise colour matches to both the product contained inside the ergonomic "flow" structure and the lids," said Simpson technical manager Sandy Cass.
