PrePage-IT transforms any Harlequin RIP into a ROOM workflow for the fraction of the cost of high-end workflows.
Polkadots president Gilles Duhamel said: "According to Seybold's PDF shoot-out PrePage-IT beats all of the major workflows: Agfa, ArtWork, Creo, Esko-Graphics, Fujifilm and Heidelberg. And it sells at a fraction of their cost."
It can split jobs into individual pages, accepts PostScript, PDF, TIFF, EPS, DCS and CT/LW files, and works with third-party imposition packages.
Prices start at 6,000 for software only for a user with an existing Harlequin RIP, ranging up to a 20,000-30,000 for a full system including hardware.
