"We wanted kit that was flexible, easy to use and quick to set up for fast turnover between jobs," said Sharp Print managing director Stuart Willis.
Other new kit includes a Foldnak 8 booklet maker with trimmer, a Citoborma 190 drill and a Rhin-O-Tuff binding system. The six-staff firm produces brochures and letterheads on a six-colour Heidelberg and Xerox DC 250.
"We can print from one to a million copies, have CTP and Macs and big pressure on space," said Willis. "The litho and digital mix is ideal for us because the two techniques satisfy demand for speed, quality and keen pricing."
He added: "Apart from the guillotine everything can be moved so I can bring kit out from a corner when needed."
