Service Graphics seals a 7m contract with WPP

Service Graphics has secured a preferred supplier contract, worth up to 7m per year, with advertising giant WPP Group.

The rolling agreement will involve the production of branding and display materials for live events, airport and railway advertising displays and interior branding.

Service Graphics director Ben Moss said that the firm was previously getting 750,000 worth of business from the agency group.

"However, around 7m worth of business has been highlighted in the areas that we cover," he said.

Over the past 10 years, Service Graphics has dealt with four WPP divisions: Landor, Brand Union, PCI Fitch and Hill & Knowlton.

Moss said that Service Graphics had established a strong relationship with the WPP companies that it currently deals with, and expected to roll out the firm's expertise to other companies within WPP.

The firm is also planning to set up a dedicated team to look after WPP. The team will initially be made up of six staff and will provide 24-hour production.

WPP is one of the world's leading communication services groups, with 72,000 staff working in 1,700 offices in 104 countries. It had revenues of 4.3bn in 2004.
