The London-based firm is targeting brand owners and corporates who spend over 500,000 annually on repro and claims to save 40% on prices available in the UK.
Advertising industry veterans Angus Fear and Jonathan Mermagen are the directors behind the firm, which was set up last year.
Fear had been managing director of Roose & Partners, part of Chime Communications. Mermagen, a designer, has been based in India for several years.
Suppliers in Bombay, Delhi and Karachi are working for Global Pre Print. The firm has been conducting tests with a UK food firm and is tendering for packaging and PoS work from two major firms.
It is also working with an undisclosed UK repro house giving quality assurance for the Indian sourced repro.
Globals service offering follows the launch of Express KCS (PrintWeek, 5 February), although the firms have different business models and target different sectors of the market.
