The 44 Ultra Plus is a 44in-wide machine for mounting, laminating and encapsulating digital prints, while the 61in-wide 62 Ultra Plus also has a roll capture mechanism to simplify handling of consumables.
The entry-level equipment, which sits just above the manufacturer's manual laminators, can handle pressure-sensitive substrates up to 12.5mm thick at up to 2.13m per minute.
Netherlands-based Seal Graphics specialises in wide-format laminators, films and adhesive and inkjet media. UK pricing was not available for the Ultra Plus range, which is shipping now. The 44 Ultra Plus costs £5,917, while the 62 is priced at £7,102.
Fespa Digital 2008 takes place at the Geneva Palexpo, Switzerland on 1-3 April.
