Franklin joined the digital embellishments kit manufacturer from Kongsberg, where he was also UKI and Nordic territory manager.
Scodix said the appointment would help it cement its growth across Europe, and reflected its commitment to having a high-quality management team.
Franklin, who has 35 years of experience in the print industry, said he was keen to take on the role.
“I am committed to supporting the industry’s culture of innovation through my new and exciting role,” he said.
“Scodix is a forward-thinking company and offers premium products and support.”
Mark Nixon, Scodix’s VP global sales & marketing, said: “Paul’s appointment exemplifies the expansion of Scodix this past year and our guarantee of the highest quality standards and care for customers.
“We are very pleased to have Paul joining the Scodix team; his expertise in this industry will push Scodix to new heights and grow our business in these regions.”
